Terms of use.
These terms describe the boundaries of the Field Report website and mobile application. The product supports field documentation; it does not replace your professional judgment or contractual obligations.
1. Release status
Field Report is currently preparing for Android release. A public download, Google Play purchase, and production billing flow are not yet offered through this website. Website descriptions are product information, not a promise that every store or platform has approved the app.
2. Permitted use
You may use Field Report for lawful field documentation, inspection, maintenance, cleaning, repair, handover, and related work. You must not use the service to interfere with systems, send abusive contact submissions, probe accounts, or violate another person's rights.
3. Your data and professional responsibility
You control the field information entered into the app and are responsible for having permission to photograph, record, store, sign, and share it. Review descriptions, annotations, dates, locations, signatures, and recipients before delivery.
Local-first storage means you are responsible for device security and appropriate backups. Removing the app, clearing its data, losing the device, or failing to create a backup may make local work unrecoverable.
4. Reports are documentation, not certification
Field Report formats the evidence and statements you provide. It does not independently inspect a site, verify a defect, determine compliance, certify completion, or guarantee that a client, regulator, insurer, employer, or court will accept a report or signature.
5. Accounts
Verified email sign-in is required before using the mobile app. Accounts also associate future purchase access with a verified identity. Keep verification codes and sessions secure. Signing out blocks app access until you sign in again but does not delete local projects. Account deletion affects account and purchase association as described in the privacy policy; it does not remove local app files.
6. Trial and purchases
The planned product model includes a seven-day full trial and a one-time lifetime Pro unlock. Final availability and localized price will be shown by Google Play. Google Play terms govern payment, cancellation, refunds, and store availability.
Team software licenses cost US$79 for 5 people or US$199 for 20 people, including the purchaser, as one-time purchases. Each includes the first year of team cloud service: 1 GB storage and 5 GB monthly image downloads for 5 people, or 5 GB storage and 20 GB monthly image downloads for 20 people. Cloud service can then be renewed manually for one year at US$15 or US$39 respectively, with no automatic renewal. Availability and localized checkout prices are provided by Google Play. Cloud expiry pauses online photo uploads and reads; downloaded files remain usable locally. Allowances are shared by the team and monthly downloads reset each UTC calendar month. Cloud expiry does not cancel the software license or automatically delete stored evidence.
Account deletion is not a refund. Restored access may require the verified Field Report email account and the relevant Google Play purchase account.
7. Availability and changes
Features may change while release preparation and platform review continue. Network features—including verification email, account deletion, and future purchase restoration—may be interrupted by maintenance, provider limits, or connectivity. Local work should remain usable within the app's documented limits.
8. Warranty and liability
To the extent allowed by law, Field Report is provided without a promise that it will meet every legal, contractual, or professional requirement. We are not responsible for decisions made solely from an unreviewed report, unauthorized collection or sharing by a user, or loss that could reasonably have been avoided through device protection and backups.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Questions can be sent through the contact form.
